Physical Therapist - Travel Opportunity (Hospital) - Miami, FL
ResponsibilitiesJoin a hospital rehab department in Miami, FL as a traveling Physical Therapist. Provide evaluations and follow-up treatments including vestibular and lymphedema care across inpatient rehab, acute rehab, and outpatient settings. Collaborate with PT/OT/ST teams to support patient recovery using standard rehab equipment and documentation systems.
Provide high‑quality rehabilitation services that support patient mobility, function, and discharge readiness. Work within multidisciplinary teams to deliver individualized care plans. Contribute to outcomes in an environment that serves both inpatient rehab and acute populations.
Minimum Requirements- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Florida state PT license required to start the assignment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience as a Physical Therapist in acute, inpatient rehab, or outpatient settings.
- Experience with rehab equipment and documentation systems (Meditech for IRF/acute; Net Health/ReDoc for outpatient).
- Ability to function in team‑based care and adapt to changing unit needs.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
- Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
- Experience treating vestibular and lymphedema conditions preferred.

- Work setting includes inpatient rehab facility (IRF), acute rehab, and outpatient; patient ratios estimated IRF 1:4, acute 1:12, outpatient 1:10.

Meditech used for IRF and acute;
Net Health (ReDoc) used for outpatient.
