Job Summary
Full‑time faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. This individual will provide clinical neuropsychological services that may include mental health screenings and psychological assessments.
Responsibilities- Administer tests for intelligence, memory, attention, language, and sensorimotor functions.
- Evaluate disorders such as dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, stroke, brain tumors, and ADHD.
- Develop cognitive rehabilitation plans and, in some cases, provide psychotherapy.
- Prepare detailed, evidence‑based reports to guide medical treatment.
- Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and other medical staff.
- Provide supervision for post‑doctoral psychology fellows.
- Attend multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Identify patients requiring psychiatric evaluation.
- Education:
Psy.
D. or Ph.D.; valid State of Florida Licensed Psychologist.
Skills and Abilities
- Completion of a fellowship with specialized training in neuropsychology.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills for patient care and data interpretation.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred.
