DescriptionThe pharmacy director responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Strategic planning, designing, managing, and improving the medication‑use system
- Ensuring quality outcomes through performance‑improvement activities
- Leading drug‑utilization efforts
- Optimizing use of information systems and technology
- Managing the pharmaceutical supply chain
- Overseeing pharmacy department financial operations
- Managing human resources
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Fulfilling the organization’s research and educational missions
- Providing institutional representation and leadership

Qualifications- 7 plus years of experience
- Bachelor's degree, Florida‑valid Pharmacist and Consultant License required
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and residency training preferred
- Advanced degree (Master's level) preferred
- Previous managerial experience in institutional pharmacy setting required
