Perform histological preparations that are consistent with the Section's Policies and Procedures in order to deliver quality slides to the pathologist in a timely manner. Estimated pay range for this position is $34.08 - $44.30 / hour depending on experience.
Qualifications- High School diploma, Certificate, GED, Training, Experience
- Clinical Laboratory Histology Technologist
- Clinical Laboratory Supervisor
- Complete knowledge of Histology lab procedure including cryostat, gross room, accessioning, embedding and microtomy
- TN – Clinical Laboratory Technologist or SU – Clinical Laboratory Supervisor license required
- Either license must have qualification in histology technologist
- ASCP certification is preferred
Minimum
Required Experience:
2 Years
