Seeking a COTA to cover therapy services in Aventura, FL to provide treatment in an ALF setting: $50/tx. We are an outpatient therapy clinic seeking passionate therapists to deliver top-notch therapy and results for our geriatric clientele. Responsibilities- Implementing selected components of care and interventions in a technically competent manner
- Provide skilled intervention to improve patient functional independence
- Communications with families, physicians, and other health care team members
- Keeps timely, thorough documentation of services in the medical record
- Graduate of an accredited college or university with an Associates in Occupational Therapy
- Education and/or
Experience:
Two years (preferred) of clinical experience in respective fields of study - Actively Licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
- PRN — a per diem on-call pool of therapists. You will receive patient assignments to follow the plan of care when needed.
- Flexibility to choose when you work and to accept or decline cases based on availability
- Work settings include ALF and residential home environments
- PRN positions may offer higher pay rates but typically do not include benefits like paid time off or health insurance
- No long-term contracts; assignments may vary in number and duration
- Weekend and holiday shifts may be required, often with premium pay
- PRN work supports ongoing skill maintenance and provides opportunities for diverse clinical experiences
- Networking opportunities with colleagues, physicians, and patients
