Job Summary
Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) – 13 week assignment in Miami, Florida.

As an IR Tech, you will be responsible for operating the fluoroscopic equipment and assisting the physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures. You will also prepare and observe patients undergoing procedures and report abnormal activity.
- Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required.
- Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Monitor patient during all procedures.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques.
- Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to IR procedures.
- Operate intravenous (IV) and dye injector pumps.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Use the McKesson PACS system.
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience.
- BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification; state‑specific licensing as required.
- Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.
- Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Pay package based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation); tax‑free stipend to be determined.
