SummaryPerform routine technical procedures, rotate laboratory weekends with section supervisors, coordinate and facilitate technical activities in the lab, assist in daily planning and organization of work activities to achieve maximum efficiency, organize work priorities during working hours, judge adequacy of submitted specimens and request new specimens if necessary, interrupt testing sequences to perform STAT procedures, recheck questionable results, notify supervisor when workload demands additional personnel, supervise work performed in the section when acting as the technologist in charge especially on weekends and holidays, supervise trainees in bench work activities, assist in meeting requirements set forth by inspection agencies, and treat patients of all age groups.
DutiesMaintain professional interactions with laboratory staff, nursing staff, medical staff, visitors, patients, manufacturers and sales representatives. Conduct all contacts in a friendly, courteous, helpful and considerate manner designed to provide good customer service. Answer the telephone promptly and courteously. Display concern and provide assistance as appropriate to callers or in face‑to‑face situations. Dedicate to meeting the expectations of internal and external customers and recommend appropriate solutions.

- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology (preferred).
- Minimum of three years experience as a technologist with demonstrated managerial leadership responsibility and organizational abilities.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be able to pass background and drug test screenings.
