Role
Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in a travel capacity, working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans that enhance patient mobility, reduce pain, and promote independence.
Responsibilities- Preparing therapy equipment
- Guiding patients through exercises
- Observing and documenting progress
- Educating patients and caregivers on home programs
- Collaborating with healthcare team
- Maintaining a safe environment
- Participating in quality assurance and discharge planning
- Valid PTA license
- Current BLS certification
- Critical thinking
- Excellent communication
- Physical ability to assist with equipment and movements
- Interpersonal professionalism
