CNA / HHA Caregiver (English Speaking)
SYNERGY Home Care of Miami is seeking experienced, compassionate, and reliable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide non-medical in-home care services throughout Miami-Dade County.
This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. We are currently experiencing high demand for English-speaking caregivers and are looking for professionals who can communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Compensation: $18.00–$19.50 per hour. Higher rates may be considered for candidates with exceptional experience and qualifications. Flexible schedules available. Full-time and part-time opportunities.
Requirements:
Fluent or highly proficient spoken English. Must successfully pass an English proficiency interview. Minimum 1 year of private duty, home care, assisted living, hospital, rehabilitation, or nursing home experience. Valid CNA license or HHA certificate. Reliable transportation. Professional and compassionate demeanor. Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
Typical Duties:
Personal care and bathing assistance. Dressing and grooming. Mobility and transfer assistance. Meal preparation. Light housekeeping. Medication reminders. Companionship. Dementia and Alzheimer's care. Post-surgical support. Escort to appointments and errands.
Required Documents:
Applicants should be prepared to provide the following: CNA License or HHA Certificate. Unrestricted Social Security Card. Valid Driver's License or Government-Issued CPR/BLS Certification. Physical Examination completed within the last 6 months stating "Free of Communicable Diseases". Auto Insurance Declaration Page. Professional References. Level 2 Background Screening (if available). HIV/AIDS 4-Hour Training Certificate (HIV 104). Alzheimer's/Dementia Training Certificate. Required In-Service Training Certificates (HIPAA, OSHA, Infection Control, Assisting with Self-Medication, Elder Abuse).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with dementia and Alzheimer's clients. Experience with transfers and mobility assistance. Post-operative care experience. Availability for weekends, overnights, and live-in assignments. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Applicants with strong English communication skills, excellent references, and verified caregiving experience will receive priority consideration.
