Job DescriptionThe Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will be performing therapies, recording the notes of each visit, and following up with their patients. The SLP will be empowered to build their schedule and maintain it consistently. The SLP may have Assistants to supervise and co-sign. The SLP will be given the tools (software/program, i.e., Clinic Source) to facilitate the secretarial needs of their schedules (i.e., confirming appointments), and will be expected to have computer and smartphone literacy for this reason.
Traveling will be expected, as we also offer services not only at our offices but at the daycare centers and schools in the surrounding areas. The SLP will meet with their Supervisor at least once a month and work on therapy strategies.
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, or a similar degree; SLP License from the State of Florida.
SkillsEnglish speaking;
Bilingual (Spanish);
Computer literacy;
Smartphone literacy.
At least 1 year of working with children.
ResponsibilitiesEmploy therapy proficiently;
Maintain a consistent roster of patients;
Organize your own schedule;
Use the software and programs provided;
Work with parents/guardians of the patient.
