Verify insurance coverage and pre-certifications/authorizations as warranted;
Calculate and collect patient liable amounts and explain policies per Jackson Health System policies;
Process patient payments and issue receipts while maintaining payment integrity;
Secure necessary signatures for treatments, information releases, and payment arrangements;
Assist patients with appointment scheduling and directing to appropriate staff;
Organize and file patient charts and align documents to patient medical and financial records;
Provide professional, courteous service to patients and families; handle inquiries about accounts and policies
