Description
Post-doctoral Fellow will provide assessment and intervention related to cognitive, developmental, behavioral, emotional, and social deficits and academic challenges. Works under the license of one or more licensed Psychologists. Provides inpatient consultation and intervention to hospitalized children and families, as well as, provides outpatient follow-up care. May participate in research protocols.

- Conduct comprehensive consultation to ascertain reason for referral, presenting concerns, and medical and psychosocial history. Provide intervention to hospitalized children and their families. F:
As Needed/ T: 60 minutes R: - Participate in multidisciplinary conferences to facilitate management of patients. F: 2x Weekly/ T: 60 minutes R:
- Assist with ancillary supervision of Psychology Interns or Practicum Externs. F:
Weekly/ T: 60 minutes R: - Provide psychotherapeutic services to pediatric patients and their families with psychological deficits to enhance emotional, social, and/or cognitive adaptation to their condition. F:
As Needed/ T: 60 minutes R: - Support institutional research initiatives through independent and/or collaborative research within the Psychology department. F: 3x Monthly/ T: 2 hours R:
- Document all services and place orders in the Electronic Health Record for supervisor's approval. F:
Daily/ T: 20 minutes R: - Attend and lead educational/informative programs and supervision. F:
As Needed/ T: 60 minutes R: - Select, administer, and score psychological, developmental, and psychological measures. F:
Monthly/ T: 8 hours R: - Prepare data reports from cognitive, academic & psychological tests, self-report measures, rating scales, observations/interviews to include accommodation or remediation of deficient skills. F:
Monthly/ T: 8 hours R: - Provide interpretive feedback to parents, primary caregivers, and/or members of the medical team. F:

Minimum
Job Requirements
- Completed all requirements for doctoral degree in clinical psychology
- Level II Background Check
- American Heart Association AED maintain active and in good standing throughout employment within 7 days of hire
- APA/CPA-accredited pre-doctoral internship with supervised experience in psychology
- Fundamental understanding of pediatric psychology.
- Basic competence in assessment, conceptualization, and intervention of psychological deficits.
- Skill in clinical diagnosis and treatment of childhood psychological disorders.
- Able to maintain professionalism and confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
