Pharmacy Technician 2 - Full-Time - Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center

Responsibilities

• Manages the clinical investigational drug (CID) inventory. (20% of the day)
• Provides technical assistance with clinical trial protocols. (20% of the day)
• Maintains information and assists in record keeping related to clinical trials required by the study protocols. (10% of the day)
• Performs drug distribution activities. (10% of the day)
• Prepares intravenous and chemotherapy products in accordance with established procedures. (10% of the day)
• Maintains the clinical investigational drug work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Performs workload measurement support functions.
• Maintains proper functioning of equipment used by IDS.
• Works in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and its regulations, reporting hazards, deficiencies and contraventions of the Act in a timely manner.
