Job Title
Collects data and collaborates with the RNs in the assessment processes of patients experiencing acute psychiatric crises. Facilitates the implementation of nursing care plans promoting emotional well-being as delegated. Monitors safety of patients and the environment of care. Fosters a safe and nurturing environment that encourages and reinforces constructive interactions amongst patients. Educates patients on interpersonal and self-care skills. Assists patients with activities of daily living.
Conducts age appropriate psycho-educational groups. Recognizes critical and obvious changes in patient conditions and reacts promptly. Communicates patient care observations and safety concerns to members of the multidisciplinary team.
