The Health Facility Evaluator II conducts inspections of health care facilities across Florida to ensure compliance with state licensure and federal certification requirements under Medicare/Medicaid. The position, part of the Agency for Health Care Administration's Bureau of Field Operations, involves documenting findings, completing survey reports, and may require work as an individual, team member, or team leader. The role is mission-essential and may require work during weekends, holidays, and emergencies, with extensive travel including overnight stays.
Keyqualifications:
- Three years professional or nonprofessional health care licensure, regulation, and/or certification experience
- Knowledge of state licensure and federal certification survey requirements
- Ability to utilize microcomputer equipment and software
- Ability to travel with or without accommodations
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis
- Knowledge of methods of compiling, organizing and analyzing data
