Respiratory Therapist; Home Health

Leon Home Medical is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team!

In this role, the ideal candidate will assess, treat, and support patients with various respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders. The responsibilities include:

• Evaluate respiratory conditions and administer therapies (e.g., oxygen, mechanical ventilation)
• Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
• Ensure the safe delivery and setup of equipment at the patient's residence, according to ACHC and Leon Home Medical's policies and procedures.

If you are passionate about improving respiratory health and making a difference in patients' lives,

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Patience in dealing with an elderly population and sympathetic to hearing or vision deficiencies.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Certifications required: CRT or RT

• Fluency in English and Spanish is required in order to communicate effectively with our patient population
