Job Description The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct patient care and assists with activities of daily living (ADLs), ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of clients in a home care setting or healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist patients with bathing, personal hygiene, and grooming
- Help with dressing and personal care routines
- Support with mobility and transfers (bed, wheelchair, bathroom)
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Monitor and report vital signs and changes in patient condition
- Assist with medication reminders (as permitted)
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the patient
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Document care and services provided accurately
- Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines
