Job Summary And Qualifications

Under the supervision of the Clinical Nutrition Manager provides total nutritional care as a member of the health care team. The Clinical Dietitian assesses nutritional needs of patients; develops and implements nutritional care plans; communicates information pertinent to the nutritional care of the patient through written records systems. Provides high quality care to patients. Develops and maintains regular and therapeutic meals/menus.

Provides nutrition counseling to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients and families and/or significant other. Participates in the supervision of the Nutrition Services Personnel. The Clinical Dietitian strives daily to fulfill the objectives of the Food and Nutrition Services.

HCA Florida Kendall Hospital is located in west Miami-Dade County. Our acute care facility has 417-beds. Our services include trauma, burn, surgical, women’s and children’s services, behavioral health and diagnostic services. We have two full service free-standing ER facilities.
