The Physician Assistant at Housemed will provide direct patient care in an on-site capacity within the Miami–Fort Lauderdale Area, supporting the concierge physician in delivering high-quality, personalized medical services. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, obtaining medical histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and assisting in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans. The role involves managing chronic and acute conditions, providing patient education, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, and documenting all encounters in an accurate and timely manner.
The Physician Assistant will also support patient communication, respond to clinical inquiries, and help maintain continuity of care consistent with Housemed’s commitment to availability and excellence. This is a full-time position that requires a strong patient-centered approach, clinical judgment, and collaboration within a small, dedicated medical team.
- Active Physician Assistant license in the state of Florida and graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Demonstrated skills in patient assessment, history-taking, physical examination, and clinical decision-making.
- Experience managing common acute and chronic conditions in an outpatient or home-based care setting.
- Strong patient communication, counseling, and education skills, with a focus on empathy and cultural sensitivity.
- Ability to work independently in on-site residential environments while collaborating closely with the supervising physician.
- Proficiency in medical documentation and use of electronic health records, with attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
- Commitment to high-quality, concierge-level patient service, including flexibility with scheduling and responsiveness to patient needs.
- BLS/ACLS certification and familiarity with standard clinical procedures and safety protocols.
- Prior concierge medicine, primary care, or internal medicine experience is preferred but not required.
