Envision Mind Care is a growing outpatient psychiatric and behavioral health practice serving patients throughout Florida. We provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, follow-up care, and related mental health services with an emphasis on accessible, professional, patient-centered care.

We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our clinical team.

This is a flexible opportunity for a provider interested in working in our Miami office, virtually via telehealth, or a combination of both.

We offer flexible scheduling based on provider availability and practice needs.

Our greatest current need is Thursday, Friday, and Saturday coverage. However, providers with availability on other weekdays, evenings, or weekends are also encouraged to apply.

Candidates do not have to be available all three days.

We are especially interested in providers who can offer:

• Thursday and/or Friday availability
• Saturday or other weekend availability
• Evening availability
• Consistent weekly or biweekly availability

• A combination of in-person and virtual care

We are willing to discuss a schedule that works for both the provider and the practice.

Envision Mind Care offers competitive independent-contractor compensation with productivity-based earning opportunities.

Depending on the provider, schedule, type of coverage, experience, and needs of the practice, compensation may be structured using a base/per-diem model, productivity model, or a combination of guaranteed/base compensation and productivity incentives.

Current provider compensation models within the practice may include compensation based on:

• Scheduled provider coverage
• New-patient psychiatric evaluations
• Follow-up medication-management visits
• Productivity and number of patients seen

Compensation structures and rates may vary by provider and are determined based on experience, availability, services provided, schedule, and mutually agreed-upon contractual terms.

Additional earning opportunities may be available for providers offering high-demand coverage, including evenings and weekends.

Complete compensation details will be discussed with qualified candidates during the interview and contracting process.

The PMHNP will provide psychiatric services within the scope of Florida licensure and professional training. Responsibilities may include:

• Conducting new-patient psychiatric evaluations
• Providing psychiatric medication-management follow-up care
• Assessing symptoms, diagnoses, medications, and treatment response
• Developing and maintaining individualized treatment plans
• Prescribing medications when clinically appropriate and within scope of practice
• Completing accurate and timely progress notes and clinical documentation
• Maintaining appropriate psychiatric and medical records
• Coordinating with the Clinical Director and other members of the practice when appropriate
• Supporting continuity of care and a positive patient experience
• Following applicable federal and Florida laws, HIPAA requirements, payer requirements, and practice policies
• Participating in credentialing with applicable insurance and managed-care plans as required

Required:

• Current and unrestricted Florida APRN license
• Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification
• Current DEA registration and appropriate prescribing authority
• Ability to practice and prescribe in accordance with Florida law
• Professional liability/malpractice insurance or ability to obtain required coverage
• Strong psychiatric assessment and medication-management skills
• Excellent clinical documentation and communication skills
• Reliable availability and commitment to scheduled patients
• Ability to use electronic health records and telehealth technology

Our providers are supported by an administrative team responsible for key non-clinical functions, including patient scheduling and billing/collections. The practice also assists providers with applicable payer credentialing.

Providers utilize practice-approved technology for scheduling, electronic health records, telehealth, and patient communication.
