The Human Services Program Consultant II works for the Florida Department of Health conducting disease investigations and case management, primarily focused on pregnant patients with sexually transmitted infections. The incumbent serves as a liaison with hospitals and healthcare providers while collaborating with clinical staff to provide linkage to care services in Miami-Dade County.
Keyqualifications:
- Two years of experience working with a disease control program, social services program, or community-based organization
- Ability to conduct fact-finding interviews and investigations
- Knowledge of methods for compiling, organizing and analyzing data
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Bilingual capability in English/Spanish or English/Creole preferred
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships and provide customer service
