- Bartenders are assigned to work primarily in designated “Primary bar venue(s)” and can also be scheduled to support the beverage operation in “Assistance bar venue(s)”.
- Bartenders actively engage with guests and crew to suggest, prepare and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in their assigned venue by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities.
- Minimum 4‑5 years beverage‑related experience (shipboard experience preferred) or equivalent.
- Completion of high school or equivalent education required.
- Ability to analyze and interpret recipes and manuals.
- Proficiency in calculating figures, proportions, and percentages.
- Problem‑solving skills and ability to interpret various instructions.
- Working knowledge of inventory control methods and standards.
- Ability to speak and read English – analyze and interpret procedure manuals and memos, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
- Ability to speak additional languages such as Spanish, French, German, etc.
