Job DescriptionTo provide a warm, welcoming, aesthetically pleasing atmosphere while exceeding guest expectations by providing professional children's programs in Camp Amelia and Camp Amelia @ Night and our craft experience.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily camp themes, properly complete and file waivers, registration, and recreation agreements, safely execute all field trips and excursions, actively engage with campers with structured games, activities, and crafts.
- Work daily camp themes to include field trips, swimming, crafts, and activities by providing guests an outstanding camp experience.
- Connect with guests to create take‑home keepsakes for our guests.
- Enthusiastically greet and converse with campers and parents.
- Assist with routine cleaning of the Camp room and all toys and equipment (e.g., sweeping, cleaning, emptying trash, picking up towels and trash, organizing and inventory).
- Answer phones with greeting and assist guests with any questions or reservations.
- Attend and participate in monthly All Together Get Together.
- Provide leaders inventory of supplies and creative ideas for camp.
- Engage guests of all ages in different ways to explore Omni Amelia Island and surrounding areas with a variety of options.
- Maintain clear communication with associates and guests.
- Be knowledgeable of Omni's culture.
- Actively participate in the assurance of the safety of all guests.
- Work holiday special programs as scheduled.
- Tools and Equipment:
• Computer and programs to include Resort Suite, Xola and Outlook.
• A/V equipment to include speakers, microphones.
• Basic tools to include drills, craft supplies and activity equipment to include snow cone machine, dry goods, etc. - Working Environment:
• Interior and exterior with exposure to weather conditions.
• Exposure to hot and cold temperatures.
• Camp Amelia, Craft hut, Pool deck, Beach, department storage areas, Nature center, Fitness center, walking paths and lobby areas. - Physical
Job Requirements:
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stoop, stand, push, pull and walk or stand for long periods of time.
