Responsible for maintaining gym equipment, greeting and assisting guests in cardio and weight rooms. Additionally, assists with towel service to residents.
Duties and Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Welcoming and Greeting residents.
- Ensuring residents are complying with KW Rules and Regulations;
- Report any malfunction immediately to Supervisor;
- Complete daily check list Adheres to KW standards for guest service.
- Adheres to Oceania Club standards as well as the Wellness Department standards.
- Greets guests entering the fitness area, gives short tours of area, directs guests to classes, etc.
- Cleans and inspects operation of each piece of weight room equipment on a daily basis and ensures the weight room and cardio room are neat at all times.
- Reports major repairs needed to Manager.
- Assures stock of towels, water bottles and headphones.
- Attends and participates in staff meetings and training workshops.
- Refers guests to other in-house professionals as necessary.
- Refers guest problems or complaints to manager or supervisor according to KWPMC guest problem resolution policy.
- Reports and documents any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures to management immediately.
- Performs other job-related duties as directed.
The position will be indoors and outdoors. Moderate noise level.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 25 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures.
This position will require long periods of standing and walking, as well as working outdoors.
This is a non-exempt (hourly) position. Days and hours will be determined by the property. The schedule may change to accommodate the business needs of the property.
RequiredEducation and Experience
- Prior experience in a related position.
- The ability to work in a busy, luxury, and fast-paced environment.
- The ability to convey a positive and “can-do” attitude at all times, including during high-stressful situations.
- Ability communicate effectively with other staff
- Must be able to work well with others as the role will require cooperation from other team members
- High School Diploma or Equivalent;
- Ability to organize and prioritize;
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions;
