Job Description Overview- Greet resident/guest and properly escort them to and familiarize them with the fitness center, pool, locker room, wet areas, juice bar and aquatic center.
- Provide quality service and maintain a clean and well-stocked fitness, spa and locker room.
- Adhere to and enforce all wellness rules and etiquette.
- Respond to all interactions in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
- Achieve maximum resident/guest satisfaction and comfort.
- Comply with all One Thousand Museums' policies and procedures.
- Greet resident/guest in all areas of wellness (reception, fitness center, pool, juice bar, and spa).
- Provide resident/guest service at the pool, ensuring that each resident or group are welcomed with cooler amenities and seating area is comfortable.
- Explain how to operate fitness equipment, spa locker, relaxation lounge meditation chair, and studio speaker.
- Maintain cleanliness of fitness center, pool deck, juice bar kitchen, spa locker room, treatment rooms, relaxation lounge, salon and laundry.
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards.
- Ensure adequate supply of all resident amenities throughout the locker room area and ensure immaculate presentation of these items.
- Issue, stock, and fold towels, robes, and other items as needed to provide residents with a level of service in keeping with One Thousand Museum standards.
- Ensure compliance of daily opening/closing checklists, conducting thorough walkthroughs of each area.
- Comply with One Thousand Museums' work rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in Employee Handbook.
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers, supervisors, and managers.
- Read the Marquis Employee handbook and understand and adhere to the property rules and regulations, particularly the policies and procedures relating to operation, hygiene, health, and safety.
- Undertake other duties and responsibilities which, while outside the normal routine, are within the overall scope of the position.
- Report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform/attire; maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the property and department personal appearance standards.
- Provide a friendly, courteous, and professional service always.
- Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and all other departments.
- Respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the needs of the industry, company, or property.
- Be flexible and extend job duties.
- Attend training and meetings as and when required.
- Ensure a safe workplace by identifying hazards and taking corrective action.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed and notify security of any accidents or injuries.
- Report equipment malfunctions promptly and accurately.
- Provide information about spa treatments and products.
- Handle other tasks or projects deemed necessary by the Wellness Director.
- Utilize all computer systems relevant to the department.
- Prior experience in a spa or wellness environment
- Prior experience in luxury hospitality highly preferred
- Knowledge of various wellness and healing treatments
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.

- Lift/Push/Pull/Carry objects up to 50lbs
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel and climb stairs throughout full shift
- Work a full shift standing
- Ability to work outside pool area
- Ability to work with chemicals/agents
- Ability to wear protective gear required for cleaning
- Ability to work varied hours/days, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Hearing, speech, vision, and literacy ability for one‑on‑one communication with resident/guests and employees
- Perform job functions and duties as assigned
- Function under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions
