Position Overview

As a Front Desk Agent at The Moore you will be an integral member of the front office team that creates distinctively different and authentic experiences for our members and guests. You will warmly greet and assist them with their requests, travel itinerary, reservations, and overall guest experience details.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform all check‑in and check‑out tasks.
  • Manage online and phone reservations.
  • Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data.
  • Register guests, collecting necessary information such as contact details and exact dates of their stay.
  • Welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms.
  • Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities.
  • Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ needs.
  • Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services.
  • Share personal passions and knowledge of the services and amenities available to guests to help them feel at home.
  • Collaborate with team members to communicate observations to staff and management to ensure guests’ needs are met.
  • Maintain an impeccable eye for detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service position.
  • Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Energetic, dependable and motivated to work.
Physical Requirements
  • Capability to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
  • Agility in moving quickly between different areas of the hotel.
  • Capacity to lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Occasional kneeling, bending, crouching, and climbing as needed.
