We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead the operations of a premier waterfront property in Bermuda. Nestled on a stunning private coastline, the resort offers beautifully appointed waterfront rooms and villas, world-class dining, wellness and spa facilities, and a private beach—providing an unforgettable experience for discerning travelers.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a hospitality leader with a proven track record in luxury resort management, a deep understanding of the nuances of island operations, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across all departments, ensuring the delivery of the highest levels of guest satisfaction.
- Oversee day-to-day resort operations, including accommodations, food & beverage, spa and wellness services, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
- Lead and develop a strong management team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain the property’s high-end positioning through quality assurance, brand alignment, and service excellence.
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability.
- Collaborate with ownership and senior stakeholders to achieve short- and long-term business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards related to health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Foster strong relationships within the local community and with vendors, while navigating the unique logistical challenges of island operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in luxury resort or high-end hospitality operations.
- Caribbean or island resort experience is mandatory, with a demonstrated ability to thrive in remote and logistically complex environments.
- Proven success in managing all-inclusive and full-service resort operations, including luxury accommodations, dining, spa/wellness, and guest services.
- Strong financial acumen with a results-driven approach to revenue generation, cost management, and profitability.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead diverse teams.
- Commitment to sustainability, cultural sensitivity, and high ethical standards.
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Compensation:
