Linen keeper
Linenkeepers are responsible for providing the linen needs of the entire ship. Duties include delivering clean and dirty linen bags, bedsheets, cleaning rags, towels, and washed uniforms to shipboard personnel; adjusting crew members uniforms, linen, shower curtains, and other ship curtains; assisting in any upholstery work in guest and crew areas; and attending meetings and training sessions as requested by the Chief Housekeeper.
A high school or hotel school diploma, one year Linen keeper experience in a shipboard or shoreside setting, and two years of experience as a tailor or seamstress are required for this position.
