Job TitleFront Desk Agent / Bell Attendant
Responsibilities- Guest Relations and Satisfaction
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile.
- Use guests’ names whenever possible to create a welcoming environment.
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of all hotel features and amenities.
- Assist with group and event support and provide relevant information.
- Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting.
- Cleanliness and Hygiene
- Ensure all front and back of house areas are clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist in maintaining guest rooms and public spaces as required.
- Greet guests while cleaning to maintain a positive environment.
- Product Consistency & Quality
- Complete all operational checklists with 100% accuracy and on time.
- Prepare accurate shift handover reports.
- Wear clean, approved uniform, wear a nametag, and smile at all times.
- Teamwork
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members.
- Show a can‑do attitude and be willing to assist beyond the traditional role.
- Collaborate to create a welcoming environment for guests and a positive workplace.
- Front Desk Operations
- Check‑in/out guests efficiently and contact them post‑check‑in for satisfaction.
- Maintain up‑to‑date understanding of room rates and promotions.
- Receive and note all incoming mail per the daily shift checklist.
- Bell Attendant Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival and departure.
- Provide area information and local directions.
- Arrange transportation for guests as needed.
- Assist with luggage to and from rooms.
- Deliver items to guest rooms upon request.
- Ensure public areas meet hotel standards and restock supplies.
- Maintain a friendly smile and professional appearance.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Experience in hospitality, service, consumer‑facing franchise, or related field preferred.
- Positive, can‑do attitude with willingness to learn.
- Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures.
- Capable of handling high‑pressure situations and working at pace.
- Effective listening and conflict resolution skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Desire to serve all guests.
- Minimum age 18.
- Willingness to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Clock‑in/clock‑out punctuality; no off‑clock work.
- Breaks and call‑outs handled per supervisor instructions.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record (Bell Attendant).
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move up to 25‑30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally.
