Job DetailsCompensation: $15 per hour plus $4–$8 per hour in tips or quarterly bonuses.
Work Schedule: Open availability; AM/PM shifts.
Benefits: Accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, and a 401k retirement plan.
Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible for benefits outlined above.
SummaryAs a Guest Service Associate, you will provide exceptional hospitality to guests, assisting with parking, retrieving vehicles safely, handling luggage, and delivering luggage information. You will also assist with directions, reservations, and general inquiries.
Essential FunctionsMaintains a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, co‑workers, and clients. Acknowledges and greets guests within five feet using a professional and friendly demeanor. Uses guests’ last names during interactions – 25% of time.
Uses salutations of the day, welcomes guests, practices proper phone etiquette, and stands watch – 10% of time.
Parks and retrieves vehicles slowly and cautiously; assists with bell services and luggage; opens all vehicle and hotel doors for guests – 20% of time.
Assists guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries; provides information about outlets, meeting rooms, and facility amenities; shuttles guests – 10% of time.
Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures; issues claim checks; maintains ticket information; collects revenue for vehicles – 35% of time.
Total amount of time for all functions of the job: 100%
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a criminal background and drug screen.
Work Experience: One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge: Principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Ability to read and write standard English language.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Math skills: add and subtract three-digit numbers, multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s; perform operations using units of American money.
- Understand 24-hour and military time systems.
- Understand rates applicable to time passed.
- Manual transmission operation is highly desirable.
Authority to Act: The job is fairly routine; follows established practices and procedures; decisions made within operational instructions and departmental guidelines. Errors in judgment could affect operation.
Budget Responsibility: Controls only resources available.
Working Conditions & Physical DemandsPhysical requirements:
talk or hear regularly; sit or stand for extended periods; run, walk, handle tools, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus.
Lifting requirements: up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, 20 pounds constantly.
Work is outdoors for extended periods, subject to extreme heat and cold weather.
Travel up to 5% may be required.
