Position Bar Manager
DescriptionThe Bar Supervisor is responsible for the operations of our high end Bar establishment, creating a vibrant bar culture for our guests. The Bar Supervisor develops strategies to ensure the bar operates efficiently and profitably, while providing an exceptional bar experience for our patrons. The Bar Supervisor provides strong leadership to the Beverage employees to ensures premium service cocktail excellence and profitability in a luxury environment.
Duties & Responsibilities- Develop and maintain beverage menus, ensuring a diverse selection of innovative and current cocktails are crafted with care for our guests.
- Manages vendor relationships
- Control costs, waste and pilferage
- Hire, train, guide, mentor and discipline bar staff
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, maintaining cost control
- Ensure complance with health & safety regulations and all liquor laws
- Fosters a welcoming atmosphere for guests, handling customer inquiries and resolving issues
- Minimum of 5 years of Bartending experience in a high-end property or Resort or Hotel
- Must speak and write in English with good communication skills
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays
- Must have at least 1 year of supervisory experience
