Onsite Janitorial Associate (Doral Isles)

Role SummaryThe Onsite Janitorial Associate serves as a key member of the hospitality team, maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming guest rooms and public areas throughout the lodge. This position prepares guest rooms, manages linens and supplies, cleans floors, furnishings, and shared spaces, and ensures all assigned areas meet established health and cleanliness standards.
Responsibilities- Organizing and cleaning guest rooms and public area
- Make up guest bed
- Keep floors and carpets clean throughout the lodge and guest rooms
- Maintain stock levels for towels, toilet paper, tissues, etc.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so health standards are met
- Clean rugs, carpets, furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampoos
- Empty wastebaskets, empty ashtrays, and transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures, work instructions, and health and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Effective verbal communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to safely use cleaning tools, equipment, chemicals, and solvents
- Ability to maintain guest privacy and demonstrate professional, courteous behavior
- Ability to manage linens, housekeeping supplies, and inventory levels
- Previous housekeeping, custodial, or hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and carry the weight established for the position
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors and tolerate exposure to cleaning products when proper safety procedures are followed
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach frequently.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier with assistance.
- Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely.
- Visual acuity to inspect equipment, read gauges, and perform detailed tasks.
- Hearing ability to detect alarms, equipment sounds, and verbal instructions in noisy environments.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise, outdoors).
- Ability to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, on-call, and overtime as required.
