Andaz Miami Beach Resort & Spa is recruiting a Banquet Manager to join the hotel’s team. An art-deco building and architectural landmark is home to the newest luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Mid-beach. The property boasts 287 guestrooms including 64 breathtaking suites and the ONLY Ocean-view arrival experience in Miami Beach. The design features elements of texture, art, and pops of color that create a unique and captivating experience.

Each suite is designed with floor-to-ceiling windows, most with deep-soaking tubs, and cozy reading nooks.

Guests can also enjoy private outdoor terraces with stunning views of the Atlantic and the Miami skyline. As the Banquets Manager, you will oversee a team of colleagues in Banquets by supporting them to make lasting food and beverage memories for our guests.

• The Banquets Manager works side-by-side with the team exceeding guest expectations and enhancing employee satisfaction and engagement.
• Think jumping in to help during a busy plate-up or supporting the setup team during a tight turn.
• The Banquets Manager sets office time to ensure the administrative tasks are covered.
• Scheduling, planning, forecasting, inventory, labor, and expense management.
• The Banquets Manager collaborates with the Executive Chef and Director of F&B on strategic revenue growth and cost savings initiatives.
• The Banquets Manager hires great people.
• The Banquets Manager will process and oversee payroll for the Banquets Department.
• Showing, teaching, and guiding them to be welcoming, caring hosts and mentor them to grow in their own careers.
• The Banquets Manager connects with guests daily.
• The Banquets Manager will take care of any service mishaps and follow up in person or on review platforms upon departure.

• Minimum 3 years Banquet Manager Experience.
• 5 years of Food and Beverage experience.
• Experience in the luxury hospitality industry.
• Extensive wine knowledge.
  
  Knowledge of food and cooking methods.
• Strong organization and Supervisory skills.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse operation.
