Referral Specialist — MIAMI, FL | Hybrid | Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm | $16.50
We are seeking an Intake & Screening Specialist to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity. This position is an immediate temp-to-perm opportunity with benefits available once converted to permanent status.
Key Responsibilities- Answer 40-60 calls a day to answer participants' questions and concerns.
- Conduct intake and screening for callers to determine appropriate programs and services.
- Assist with Medicaid and long-term care eligibility processes.
- Maintain accurate case data and records.
- Support individuals through crisis intervention and resource navigation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Human Services, or Associate’s and 2+ years related experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to de-escalate difficult conversations with professionalism.
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, data entry).
- Typing speed of at least 45 WPM.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) preferred.
