The Talent Business Partner serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning talent acquisition and retention strategies with organizational goals. This role owns the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned business units while also supporting broader talent management, workforce planning, and employee engagement initiatives. This high-priority role offers a clear development path toward senior HR leadership over time.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with business unit leaders to understand current and future workforce needs, including headcount planning and reorganizations
- Plan, develop, and execute full-cycle recruiting strategies aligned with company policies and legal requirements
- Manage applicant tracking systems and ensure timely candidate review and communication
- Develop and maintain sourcing strategies through job boards, agencies, universities, professional networks, and events
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on talent management, engagement, retention, compensation, and benefits
- Support onboarding processes, ensuring completion of documentation and a positive new hire experience
- Track and report recruitment metrics, vacancies, headcount, and turnover
- Support compensation discussions, job descriptions, and salary analysis in coordination with HR leadership
- Conduct exit interviews and partner with leaders on action plans when needed
- Participate in and support HR projects aligned with the organization’s talent strategy
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements including BSA, AML, and OFAC
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition or as a Talent Business Partner
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and HR reporting/metrics
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and deliver HR support to leaders at all levels
- Experience managing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR platforms
- Knowledge of labor laws and experience in regulated environments (banking preferred)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Highly professional, polished, and able to serve as a trusted advisor to leadership
- Open to coaching and long-term growth into expanded HR leadership responsibility
