Position: Human Resources Manager 2
Role Overview This is a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their career within the human resources space! Sodexo Magic is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team at Miami Dade International Airport (MIA). The Human Resources Manager will work on-site and provide HR support to the Sodexo food and beverage teams that operate the American Airlines Admirals Clubs/Lounges within the airport.

Our airport lounges are dedicated spaces for passengers to relax and rejuvenate while awaiting their next adventure. Sodexo Magic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin "Magic" Johnson and Sodexo. This strategic alliance enables us to deliver creative solutions to our clients along with our local partners throughout the communities we serve.

For almost 20 years, we have provided top-level food, facilities management and integrated services to corporations, healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, colleges, universities and aviation lounges. Incentives Paid Airport Parking What You'll DoOversee airport badging process for new hires;

Support new hire orientation facilitation, set-up and logistics;

Onboarding;
Run compliance reports;

Maintain and distribute employee training/communications;

Assist with career fairs and hiring events/recruitment;

Share employee benefits information with new hires and direct them accordingly;

Complete I-9 forms and other employee file documentation;

Set up employee direct deposits;

Engage with potential candidates and represent Sodexo as an employer of choice;

Collect union statements/corrective actions for the Senior Human Resources Manager;

Address payroll issues;

Function as the HR liaison between operations and senior HR (position reports to Sr. HR Manager).

What You Bring Prior human resources management experience supporting an employee base of 150-300 employees;

Seeking bilingual candidates; the ability to communicate in Spanish will assist in managing this workforce;

Understanding of labor laws, compliance, performance management and talent acquisition;

Strong attention to detail and leadership with a proactive mindset;

The ability to communicate with both employees and stakeholders.

Experience with in restaurants, hospitality or the travel industry strongly preferred.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years Minimum Functional Experience - 1 year of HR experience
