We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a Forbes-rated luxury waterfront resort on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
This intimate, high-touch destination property is known for its refined service culture, strong reputation in the luxury leisure market, and commitment to Forbes-level guest experience standards

We are seeking a Training & Recruitment Manager to lead all domestic and international hiring initiatives while driving the property’s service standards, onboarding, and training programs
.
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this position will oversee:
- Domestic and international recruitment
- Seasonal visa programs (J-1 and H-2B)
- New hire onboarding and orientation
- Ongoing compliance and service-standards training
- Lead all domestic and international recruitment activities.
- Manage international hiring pipelines, including J-1 and H-2B programs.
- Build and maintain global sourcing partnerships.
- Develop seasonal recruitment strategies and calendars.
- Manage recruiting budgets, vendors, and analytics.
- Partner with department leaders to anticipate staffing needs.
- Design and deliver onboarding and service-standards training.
- Implement Forbes-aligned training programs across hotel, restaurant, and spa operations.
- Facilitate classroom, on-the-job, and virtual training sessions.
- Track training compliance and effectiveness.
- Support department leaders in team development and performance improvement.
- Ensure all mandatory training is completed annually.
- Monitor adherence to operational, safety, and service standards.
- Maintain training materials, SOPs, and instructional guides.
- Stay current on industry best practices and Forbes guidelines.
- 5+ years in HR, training, or hotel operations.
- Minimum 2 years in recruitment and training.
- Experience in luxury hotels or resorts.
- Experience with Forbes-rated or equivalent environments.
- Exposure to international recruitment (J-1, H-2B) preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with department heads.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
