Overview
Airbus is looking for a HR Shared Services Specialist to join the Human Resources team in North America at multiple locations (Grand Prairie, TX; Herndon, VA; Mobile, AL; Wichita, KS; Atlanta, GA; Miami, FL). The role provides a world-class employee experience through phone, chat and case management, and liaises with corporate HR functions.
Responsibilities- Operational and Administrative Support: 30%
- Support the operational/administrative process for all personnel actions for employees, temps and interns.
- Act as a liaison and clearing house for data and information between HRBPs, HRIS, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits and expatriation activities.
- Provide and analyze data for reporting purposes.
- Assist with annual HR cycles including performance review and open enrollment.
- Manage projects through completion including effectively identifying the scope, objectives, outcomes, and success metrics.
- Work with individuals and teams, both nationally and internationally to deliver projects on behalf of Airbus teams.
- Process and promote Airbus Employee Awards.
- People Operations: 30%
- Coordinate HR information to ensure 100% data integrity in HR systems including Workday, Service Now and e-Verify.
- Manage onboarding, transfers, expats and employee changes; review and approve updates in Workday; administer I-9, Service Now tickets, personnel file creation and related tasks.
- Perform termination administration duties, ensuring data entry in Service Now and Workday and communication to departments.
- Verify pre-employment background checks and drug screens; follow up on open items.
- Facilitate I-9 and e-Verify processes; address e-Verify non-confirmation results to comply with government regulations.

35%- Demonstrate first-class customer service via phones, live chat and case management.

- Support employee engagement, Employee Resource Groups and recognition activities, including service awards.
- Coordinate employment offer activities.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding and facilitate new hire orientations as required.
- Provide initial communication and respond to HR questions; re-direct and escalate as applicable.

- Bachelors' degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience.
- 3 years demonstrated practical experience in Human Resources.
- Experience dealing with complex conflict situations.
- Experience working with IT systems and data.
- Experience managing multiple employee requests simultaneously.
- Experience working with employees via different communication streams (chat, in person and phone).
- Experience with Workday.
- Experience with case management, Service Now.
- Experience in an international/global environment.
- Experience in aerospace HR.
- Experience with Dayforce or e-Verify.
Licensure/Certification s
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
- Up to 20% domestic travel.
- Authorized to Work in the US.
- Exceptional customer service orientation and ability to make things happen.
- Ability to receive and address feedback; excellent verbal and written communication.
- Knowledge of HR reporting and record-keeping requirements; understanding of federal/state employment laws (COBRA, FMLA, FLSA, Workers’ Comp).
- Knowledge of payroll practices and how to explain them; ability to multi-task and stay organized; prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Strategic problem solving, continuous learning; ability to work with a diverse stakeholder group; collaborative, relationship-focused approach.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; value-based ethics; experience with geographically dispersed teams.
- Fluent written and spoken English; strong written, presentation and oral communication skills; interpersonal and consultative abilities with results-oriented problem solving.
- French, German or Spanish language skills preferred.
- Working knowledge of HRIS and applicant tracking systems; knowledge of ADP or Workday.
