Take charge of our day-to-day operations, so we remain the trusted source for aviation repair and maintenance. Work with your team to implement the right processes and practices across our organization to help ensure flight and product efficiency.
What you’ll do:- Conduct new hire orientation and any other necessary on-boarding activities
- Support employee engagement wide initiatives
- Provide administrative support including record keeping, file maintenance and HRTS entry
- Strives to ensure that there is strong communication of all employee programs in an effort to increase employee engagement and morale.
- Provides day-to-day employee relations and performance counseling. Assures fair and consistent administration of all human resources policies and practices. Resolves any employee concerns
- Experience collaborating with all levels of staff and management in a fast-paced environment
- May be involved in investigating employee related issues and/or concerns.
- Works with assigned client groups to field basic questions concerning policies, procedures, benefits, payroll and processes.
- Comply with all existing government, labor and legal reporting requirements to minimize company exposure to lawsuits and manages sensitive and confidential information
- Administer Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). administration, compliance reporting (EEOC, AAP, FAA reporting), I-9 administration etc.
- Must demonstrate proficiency with common office tools such as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Assist with recruiting efforts, candidate interview/selection, career fairs etc.
- Carries out other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in a field related to Human Resources
- 5 years experience in Human Resources
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, organization, decision making, oral and written communication skills
- Creative out-of-the box thinker
- Positive professional presence, strong planning and organizational skills
- Skilled in Microsoft office products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic industry is highly desirable
