We are seeking a skilled Workday HRIS System Manager to lead the configuration, optimization, and ongoing administration of our Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) platform. This role serves as a key bridge between HR, IT, and business stakeholders to align Workday capabilities with organizational needs, drive system enhancements, and ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain Workday modules, including Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Absence, and Recruiting.
- Oversee system updates, testing, and deployment of new features and functionality.
- Analyze and optimize HR business processes to leverage Workday capabilities effectively.
- Gather requirements from HR and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable Workday solutions.
- Manage integrations with internal and third-party systems (e.g., payroll, benefits, finance).
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all HRIS processes.
- Provide training, documentation, and end-user support for HR team members.
- Lead Workday-related projects, including module implementations, enhancements, and process automation.
- Develop custom dashboards, reports, and automation tools to deliver strategic insights.
- Enhance employee and manager self-service capabilities.
- Maintain internal databases, tables, and custom reports to meet management and staff needs.
- Partner with internal audit to strengthen order-to-cash and treasury/risk controls for SOX compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience.
- Proven success supporting HRIS projects, including implementations and integrations.
- Strong functional knowledge of HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent, and Performance modules.
- Experience configuring Workday business processes and deploying multiple HCM modules preferred.
- 2–3 years of project management experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Workday certifications (preferred but not required).
