Ever Staff is seeking an experienced and driven Human Resources Generalist to join a respected professional services firm. This individual will play a key role in managing full-cycle recruiting, benefits administration, HR operations, and compliance initiatives.
Job Type: Full-time
Work Location: In-person
Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of professional staff recruiting, including job postings, applicant screening, interviews, background checks, employment offers, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
- Source candidates using Linked In Recruiter and other innovative recruiting strategies.
- Administer employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, retirement and pension plans, and Section 125 plans (HSA, FSA, commuter benefits).
- Serve as primary point of contact for employee benefit questions and enrollment support.
- Provide payroll processing support and backup as needed.
- Act as HRIS Administrator, troubleshoot user issues, and maintain data integrity.
- Oversee leaves of absence, including STD, LTD, FMLA, Military Leave, and other applicable leave programs.
- Manage Worker’s Compensation incidents and related documentation.
- Administer attorney and professional staff evaluations, compensation, and bonus processes.
- Coordinate RFP processes for insurance brokers, HRIS/payroll systems, and other HR-related vendors.
- Create, revise, and evaluate job descriptions.
- Maintain knowledge of state and federal employment laws and ensure compliance.
- Recommend and implement HR best practices and process improvements.
- Execute special projects as assigned.
- Maintain the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality while complying with company policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- SHRM Certification required; CEBS certification preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of HR experience within a professional services or law firm environment.
- Strong experience sourcing candidates using Linked In Recruiter and other creative recruitment tools.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Excellent organization and acute attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Effective planning and organizational skills
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- High level of discretion and professionalism
