The Royal Caribbean Group’s Human Resources Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full‑time HR Business Partner (II), reporting to the Technology HR Director
. This role will be based in our Downtown Miami, Port of Miami, and Miramar offices.

Position SummaryThe HR Business Partner (II) should be a strategic HR professional that partners with senior and mid managers to develop and implement human resource strategies and programs aligned with the business unit and organizational mission and vision. The role requires comprehensive knowledge of HR strategy, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, learning, employment law, compensation, benefits, and HR systems.
The HR Business Partner (II) must develop and sustain strategic and day‑to‑day consultative relationships with leaders and their teams, act as a trusted coach on business and talent matters, and collaborate with HR COE partners to implement aligned strategies.
- Works closely with leaders to develop and implement organizational strategies that optimize team performance and effectiveness.
- Builds relationships with senior business leaders to offer thought leadership on organizational design and people execution.
- Understands the unique talent needs of each department and develops strategies, in partnership with Talent Acquisition, to attract, retain, and develop future leaders.
- Analyzes employee relations issues, recommends effective solutions, and works with the business to implement them.
- Maintains a strong understanding of critical business issues for supported units, ensuring HR strategy delivers appropriate initiatives and desired outcomes.
- Works with Internal Audit, Global Security, and Information Technology on investigations of ethics, discrimination, harassment, or other workplace issues.
- Partners with HR knowledge experts in compensation, total rewards, recruitment, and organizational learning to develop best practices and monitor their application across the organization.
- Uses advanced HR information systems to access and analyze data for reporting and to recommend solutions.
- Partners with Talent Management to facilitate employee development courses organization‑wide.
- Evaluates existing policies and procedures, recommending changes and implementation organization‑wide.
- 4–7 years of progressive experience as a HR Generalist or HR Business Partner.
- Bachelor’s degree required, specializing in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience in human resources management or consulting in a dynamic, highly complex global environment.
- Demonstrated track record of strategic work with business partners at all levels.
- Ability to assess complex situations and develop solutions that align with organizational goals and legal requirements.
- Creativity in finding innovative solutions to HR challenges such as retention and talent development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong stakeholder relationships.
- Strong conflict‑management and negotiation skills, fostering win‑win solutions that promote harmony.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, especially under pressure.
- Ability to drive change management, helping employees adapt to new policies, technologies, and structures.
- Proficiency in analyzing HR data to inform decisions on performance, compensation, engagement, and turnover.
- Strategic thinking regarding the overall impact of HR decisions on organizational success.
- Self‑started, motivated, and capable of working with minimal guidance, sourcing resources to ensure progress.
