Unique Vacations, Inc. – an affiliate of the worldwide representative for Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts – is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join its Miami-based in‑house team.

Job Role s And Responsibilities
  • Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures.
  • Create, maintain, and assist with the updating of job descriptions annually, or as needed.
  • Assist and respond to team member inquiries.
  • Assist with team member trainings and PPT presentations as needed.
  • Assist and support the Human Resources team and Payroll Manager with projects, assignments, audits, events and meetings.
  • Organize and upkeep all team members’ electronic files and process requests as needed.
  • Handle the administration of team member files and other applicable documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Engage and be proactive in liaising and working with other departments and hiring managers.
  • Assist the Manager of HR Services with employee relation issues, progressive discipline action, learning and development.
  • Assist the Benefits Manager with any team member updates and inform of any team member inquiries related to benefits administration.
  • Participate in full cycle of talent acquisition and recruitment process, including but not limited to, intake meetings with hiring manager, advertising positions, prescreening interviews, scheduling interviews with candidate and hiring manager, hiring documentation, and processing background screenings.
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems current for the positions undergoing recruitment.
  • Update recruitment status report on a regular basis.
  • Update seating chart report on a regular basis.
  • Prepare onboarding itineraries, new hire IT tickets and conduct ADP onboarding for all new team members.
  • Maintain onboarding PowerPoint Presentation updated with any organizational changes.
  • Generate paperwork for any team member changes / personnel action forms such as offer letters, promotion letters, career progression letters, bonus letters, salary increase letters, transition letters, exit letters, change in status, annual increase letters, etc.
  • Maintains company organization charts current and initiate head count report monthly.
  • Maintains the HRIS updated and refreshed as needed.
  • Reconcile and submit all invoices to the accounting department monthly.
  • Assist with the planning, recruitment and implementation of the Future Forward Internship Program annually.
  • Provide support to the Manager of HR Services with the HR New Hire Program and coordinate calendar invites for new hires or as needed.
  • Provide support to the Global HR Administrators with guidance in policies, procedures, processes and Global HRIS implementation as needed.

  • Working knowledge of legal compliance within HR, i.e. FMLA Laws, Harassment, ADA.
  • Working knowledge of conducting investigations, privacy laws, and safety issues.
  • Must have a high level of proficiency in use of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong decision making and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects, activities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and with initiative
  • Ability to develop relationships at all levels in production and support areas
  • Ability to work positively and productively in fast‑paced environment
Experience

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources management or a related field preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of work experience in a Human Resources role with a recruitment background. ADP Workforce Now experience highly preferred. SHRM-CP or PHR Certification is a plus.
