Human Resources Generalist – Officer

Responsible for ensuring efficient, compliant, and scalable delivery of HR services throughout the organization. Acts as an operational leader managing payroll, HR systems (UKG), recruitment, compliance, employee lifecycle processes, regulatory training requirements, and HR service delivery while driving process improvement, automation, and operational excellence. Partners with leadership to foster high‑quality employee experience, regulatory adherence, and operational efficiency.

• Manage HR operations, including payroll, HRIS, compliance, and employee data analytics.
• Oversee time and attendance tracking, PTO/absence, and manager approvals.
• Ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing and operational controls.
• Maintain HRIS functionality, data integrity, reporting, and system optimization.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies; maintain accurate records.
• Lead the recruitment process from requisition inception to posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Conduct HR audits and regulatory reporting (ACA, non‑discrimination testing, internal/external audits).
• Monitor full scope of performance management, partnering with managers on performance and development.
• Serve as subject‑matter resource for HR policies, procedures, and programs.
• Coordinate and track training programs, ensuring completion and compliance.
• Support development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs.
• Deliver HR reporting, metrics, and documentation to support audits, leadership, and decision‑making.
• Drive process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Partner cross‑functionally to align HR operations with business needs and strategic initiatives.

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• SHRM‑CP or PHR certification preferred; advanced certifications (SHRM‑SCP/SPHR) are a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years progressive HR experience, strongly emphasizing HR operations.
• Experience in banking or financial services preferred.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to manage processes, audits, and operational controls.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (bilingual) required.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships, foster trust, and communicate effectively.
• Strategic and critical thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Experience with HRIS implementation and optimization.
• Strong project management and operational excellence orientation.
