Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager is a key culture‑carrier at E11EV

Partnering closely with the Director of Human Resources, this role supports the full employee lifecycle with a strong focus on building teams, driving engagement, and delivering a best‑in‑class employee experience. The Human Resources Manager plays a hands‑on role in staffing hourly positions, ensuring timely and compliant HR administration, and reinforcing company policies and brand expectations across the property.

Serving as a trusted resource to leaders and team members, this role supports benefits administration, workers' compensation, and employee relations while championing accountability, service excellence, and a dynamic workplace culture aligned with the E11EV
EN lifestyle.

Responsibilities include building the hotel's workforce, maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance, administering total rewards programs, supporting risk management and employee well‑being, managing unemployment claims, ensuring compliance with Human Resources and Loss Prevention SOPs, maintaining leave of absence programs, facilitating Human Resources training modules, coordinating onboarding and orientation programs, contributing to internal communications and engagement initiatives, playing an active role in employee engagement and enrichment efforts, participating in the Highgate Hotel Enrichment Committee, coordinating the Travel Reduction Program, maintaining safety and compliance documentation, preparing and distributing workforce analytics and reports, administering employee programs, and handling sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

Qualifications include a minimum of five years of progressive Human Resources experience, at least two years of experience in a managerial or leadership role, one year of Human Resources experience within a hotel or closely related hospitality environment, luxury hospitality experience, bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, previous supervisory experience, college coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field, a high school diploma or equivalent, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong listening skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment, strong organizational skills, a proactive, hands-on approach, flexibility to work extended and nontraditional hours, a polished, professional appearance, and compliance with all Highgate policies, procedures, and safety standards.
