Associate Relations Consultant Senior
Location: Associates will work in office 1–2 days per week with flexibility for virtual work; alternate locations may be considered for commuters.
Job Family: HR Operations – Non‑Management Exempt
Responsibilities- Serve as primary point of contact for associates and management on all associate relations issues, including investigations, agency charges (EEO, DOL), employment litigation, complaints, performance management, coaching, development, and attendance.
- Provide advice, guidance, coaching, and training to associates and managers based on company policies and employment law.
- Conduct investigations: manage witness lists, determine line of questioning, analyze credibility, research records, and maintain written records.
- Debrief leaders at all levels on investigation findings and provide oversight of internal investigations of associate complaints.
- Liaise with Legal on associate relations matters and partner regularly with Ethics and Compliance on crossover investigations.
- Collaborate with AR leadership and HR Business Partners on transition agreements related to separations/terminations.
- Develop and present periodic associate‑relations analytical data, analyze trends, and recommend action plans.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) and at least 5 years of human resources experience, or equivalent education and experience.
- HR designation strongly preferred (SHRM‑CP or SHRM‑SCP).
- Experience conducting complex, high‑profile investigations and advising on a wide range of sensitive associate‑relations issues.
- Strong understanding of employment law, compliance, and employee‑relations best practices.
- Proven executive presence and experience interacting with C‑Suite executives.
- Ability to craft and deliver impactful presentations tailored to a C‑Suite audience.
- Demonstrated experience executing change‑management programs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and ability to build trust, rapport and influence at all levels.
- Workday or similar HCM experience preferred;
Service Now experience preferred. - Preferably experienced in a Fortune or large company environment.
