Associate Relations Consultant Sr.

Location:
The role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. Candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance will not be considered unless an accommodation is granted as required by law.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for associates and management for associate relations issues including investigations, agency charges (EEO, DOL), employment litigation, associate complaints, performance management, coaching, development, attendance, and other issues.
- Provide advice, guidance, coaching, and training to associates and managers based on policies and legal consultation, and in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
- Conduct investigations, including managing the witness lists, determining line of questioning, analyzing credibility, researching related records, and maintaining written record of the investigation.
- Debrief leaders at all levels on findings.
- Provide oversight of the company's internal investigations of associate complaints and serve as a liaison to Legal on associate relations matters.
- Regularly partner with Ethics and Compliance on crossover investigations.
- Partner with AR leadership and HRBP for requests for transition agreements related to the separation/termination process.
- Develop and provide periodic associate relations-related analytical data and analyze trends to determine appropriate action plans.
- BA/BS degree and minimum of 5 years of human resources experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP designation strongly preferred.
- Experience conducting complex, high-profile investigations and advising on a wide range of sensitive associate relations issues.
- Thorough understanding of employment law, compliance, and employee relations best practices.
- Experience demonstrating executive presence and interacting with C‑Suite executives.
- Expertise in crafting and delivering impactful presentations tailored to a C‑Suite audience.
- Demonstrated experience executing on change management programs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong emotional intelligence, and ability to build trust, rapport, and influence across all levels of the company.
- Workday or similar HCM experience preferred.
- Service Now experience preferred.
- Fortune/large company experience preferred.
