Position: Senior Manager, Business Partner - People & Organization (Miami)

Overview

The Senior Manager, Business Partner, People & Organization serves as an advisor and trusted partner to business leaders across all Miami-based lines of business (Sony Pictures Television Networks, Distribution, Production, and Corporate). This role develops and executes people strategies that align with business priorities while delivering comprehensive human resources support throughout the employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, organizational development, performance management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, leadership coaching, and workforce planning.

The Senior Manager partners with the Regional P&O BPs and global People & Organization Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to implement enterprise initiatives and drive organizational effectiveness. This role leads regional projects, leverages people analytics to inform decision-making, and ensures compliance with employment laws and company policies while fostering an engaging, inclusive, and high-performing culture. The position reports to the Vice President, People & Organization, Latin America.

Responsibilities
  • Organizational Culture — Champion and reinforce the organization s culture by leading the implementation of People & Organization initiatives, organizational changes, and communications that support employee engagement and business success. Support diversity and inclusion initiatives and foster an inclusive, respectful, and high-performing workplace. Partner with leaders to analyze employee feedback and implement initiatives that enhance employee experience and organizational effectiveness. Communicate P&O policies and procedures to employees and collaborate with Legal to ensure policies, practices, and processes comply with applicable employment laws and local regulations.

    Lead development and coordination of communications that support organizational initiatives, leadership messaging, employee engagement, and change management efforts.
  • Talent Acquisition/Recruiting — Lead full-cycle recruitment and selection for Miami-based positions including workforce planning, sourcing strategy, candidate assessment, offer management, and onboarding. Advise hiring managers on recruiting strategies, market trends, and talent availability to attract high-quality candidates aligned with business needs. Liaise with external staffing agencies as needed. In collaboration with the Miami P&O team, manage new hire onboarding and orientation.
  • Day-to-Day Supervision and Direction (P&O Analyst) — Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and prioritization of work for the People & Organization Analyst to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality HR services aligned with priorities. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to provide coaching, mentorship, performance feedback, and development opportunities. Delegate assignments effectively while fostering accountability and a collaborative team environment.
  • Employee Relations — Advise managers and employees on employee relations matters, workplace concerns, and HR policies. Coach leaders on performance management, corrective action, conflict resolution, and effective people management practices. Partner with Legal on sensitive employment matters while mitigating organizational risk.
  • Regional Projects — Lead and participate in regional and global P&O initiatives, including HR technology implementations, annual compensation planning, organizational change initiatives, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new systems and processes. Collaborate with regional P&O BPs and global CoEs to align and implement enterprise programs across client groups. Represent regional P&O on cross-functional project teams to provide business insight and ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Compensation and Benefits, Payroll, Occupational Health, Vendor Management — Partner with the Compensation team to review market analyses and provide recommendations on salary actions, promotions, structural changes, and packages.
