Job Description:
Insight Global is hiring a Senior HR Generalist for one of our aerospace customers in North Miami, FL 33181. The Sr. HR Generalist serves as the organization’s lead HR compliance and benefits administrator, ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures as well as all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. This role oversees HR risk management and operational HR administration, monitors and enforces HR standards across the organization, supports operational leaders with employee relations matters, and maintains accurate HR reporting, benefits administration, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure organizational compliance with internal HR policies and all applicable federal, state, local, and industry regulations, including employment law, OSHA, EEOC, FAA requirements, and HR audits.
- Serve as the lead administrator for employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance, accurate enrollment, reporting, and vendor coordination.
- Oversee accurate and timely completion of core HR processes, including performance evaluations, I-9 compliance, work authorization tracking, labor law postings, and personnel documentation.
- Support managers with employee relations matters, coaching, and policy interpretation to ensure fair, consistent, and compliant practices.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks to reflect current legal requirements and best practices.
- Administer compensation programs, onboarding, and offboarding processes in alignment with regulatory and company standards.
- Examples of activities:
- Develop and continuously improve HR processes across the organization
- Partner with managers on performance management conversations, disciplinary processes, HR deadlines and legal obligations
- Maintain accurate HRIS and personnel records data, supporting operational accuracy and confidentiality
- Investigate employee incidents and support OSHA, safety, and compliance reporting initiatives
- Prepare and provide HR metrics and reports to management, auditors, and insurance carriers
- Monitor HR compliance across facilities, including support HR audits, internal or external, ensuring accurate documentation
