Staffing Coordinator
Our Florida Commissary is looking for a Staffing Coordinator to join their operations team in Miami, FL. The Staffing Coordinator will report to the Staffing Manager and work collaboratively with multiple departments and business units to support staffing operations across the region. This position is responsible for coordinating the recruitment, scheduling, and deployment of hourly event staff to meet operational needs.
Specific duties and responsibilities include:
- Recruiting & Hiring Support the onboarding process by assisting with the preparation, scheduling, and coordination of new employee training sessions. Identify and attend recruiting events at local universities and/or related business organizations.
- Scheduling Review and fulfill staffing requisitions. Manage scheduling platform to assign and confirm staff shifts. Assess event requirements to determine appropriate staffing and required skill sets. Plan and monitor key event dates six months ahead to support effective scheduling and resource allocation. Communicate event updates and logistical changes to staff, ensuring everyone remains informed and prepared. Address staffing shortages caused by call-outs by identifying and assigning qualified replacement personnel.
Assist with organizing logistics for event transportation schedules. - Operational Provide supervisory support during major events Conduct on-site staff check-ins at events, ensuring employees arrive on time, meet uniform requirements, and follow company policies. Apply progressive discipline as appropriate. Provide occasional administrative support by preparing and organizing event staff assignment packets. Perform other administrative tasks and duties as assigned.

Compensation: $25 - $28 hourly
